Great Britain’s Anthony Joshua takes on Russian Alexander Povetkin in a huge world title fight at London’s Wembley Stadium on Saturday. Povetkin is the mandatory challenger for Joshua’s WBA world heavyweight title belt but the champion will also be putting his WBO, IBO and IBF titles on the line.
Joshua has won all of his 21 fights to date, 20 of them by knockout, but Povetkin is dangerous and his record of 31-1 proves it.

What time does it start and how can I watch?

The card is set to commence from 5:30 p.m. BST with the main event likely to start some time after 10 p.m. local time, five hours ahead of the East Coast.

For U.S. viewers, the fight will be aired on DAZN in what will be the first fight streamed on the service.

In the UK, the fight will be shown live on Sky Sports Box Office at a cost of £19.95. Sky subscribers can buy the fight online or through their box. Non-Sky customers can also book and stream the fight via the Sky Sports website, Now TV service or Sky Sports Box Office App.

What happens if Joshua wins? What happens if he loses?

If favourite Joshua does get the job done the stage is almost set for a bout to decide the undisputed world heavyweight champion against undefeated American Deontay Wilder.

Joshua’s camp have booked out Wembley for Apr. 13 2019 and are hoping another round of negotiations will prove successful. If the Wilder fight does not come off, a rematch with British rival Dillian Whyte would be the most likely option.

Whyte, like Joshua, is signed to Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom stable. He beat Joshua when the pair were amateurs, but was knocked out in the seventh round of their 2015 professional contest at London’s O2 Arena.

Should Joshua get beaten, a rematch with Povetkin is extremely likely.

Are there still tickets available?

As of yet, the fight is yet to sell out with a couple thousand tickets available for face value through StubHub. Tickets range from £40 in Wembley’s top tier right up to £2,000 for ringside VIP. Official coach packages including travel from various locations throughout the UK are also available.
